Levente Pap, Ph.D.

   Dr. Levente Pap was born in Budapest, Hungary. He received his B.S. degree at the University of Eotvos Lorand. In 2011 he won the Erasmus Scholarship and he began his international journey at the University of Leeds.  He continued his education and received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Wyoming in 2019. Currently, he is a visiting assistant professor at New College of Florida. He is passionately teaching regular and upper-level courses and conducting research in the field of environmental toxicology, and analytical chemistry. Dr. Pap is developing novel, ultra-sensitive detection techniques to identify toxic substances at low concentrations. Currently, Dr. Pap is developing a brevetoxin identification unit.
